Spring - 2025 (10-week session)
Beginning Students
Beginner Piano classes are 50 minutes in length. Sessions are 10 classes long. Max 10 students per class.
4-5 year olds:
5:30 Tuesday with Liz (April 8-June 10)
6-8 year olds:
4:30pm Thursday with Sarah Jane (April 10-June 12)
10:30am Saturday with Liz (April 12-June 14)
9-11 year olds (12 week class)
6:30pm Wednesday with Tommy (March 19 - June 4)
Continuing students
6-8 yo SESSION 2: Thursday 5:30pm with Sarah Jane (April 10-June 12)
6-8 yo SESSION 2: Tuesday 4:30pm with Liz (April 8-June 10)
4-5 yo SESSION 2 - Wednesday 4:30pm with Sarah Jane (April 9-June 11)

This class, taught by Sarah Jane Perbix or Liz Hawkinson, is for our young beginners ready to try piano for the first time. A group class is a wonderful way to start playing piano at this age. After many requests, we’re also pleased to add an option for our 9-11 year olds who are beginning for the first time with Tommy Boynton.
We learn musical skills focusing on singing, playing, ear training, and music movement. This comprehensive class will progress through a method book together through song and play. Practice is required at home on a keyboard or piano. This is a great chance to develop the beginning skills for piano studies in a exciting and well-paced learning environment.
Please note: Parents are required to stay and participate in the class for ages 4-5 and 6-8, not for 9-11. Parental involvement is key to success with our early beginners. We strongly advise that you find alternate child-care for siblings so you can have full attention on our piano learner.
